Bone marrow concentrate (BMC) is prepared from a patient’s own bone marrow and contains a concentrated mixture of cells, platelets, and signaling proteins. At Interventional Orthopedics of Washington, BMC may be considered for selected joint, tendon, ligament, and spinal conditions. Treatment is physician-led, tailored to the patient’s diagnosis, anatomy, imaging, health history, and goals, and precisely delivered with ultrasound or fluoroscopic guidance when appropriate. The goal is to support the body’s healing response and improve pain and function without making guarantees about tissue regeneration or avoiding surgery.
