I injured my knee 2 years ago. Before that I was pretty active hiking, running, playing soccer and playing with my kids. After the injury, pain made the simplest of activities like sitting in a chair, getting in and out of the car, or … More going up and down stairs very difficult. Arthroscopic surgery didn’t help and after 4 opinions from “conventional” orthopedists I was left feeling like I had no good options and that the rest of my life would be spent managing pain and watching people do the things I loved. My physical therapist recommended I look into stem cell therapy and suggested I see Dr. Silva. I was skeptical, because I had done enough research online to know there are a lot of predators in the stem cell world. Dr. Silva spent the time with me to fully understand my case, review my imaging and surgical reports, and most importantly he talked to me about how it impacted my life. He gave me an honest evaluation with a realistic outcome. I was prepared for a hard sell and instead he gave me information. I had PRP and stem cell therapy about 2 months ago and my life has changed. I have been working hard to regain the strength and endurance I had lost and I still have a long way to go, but I am 100% pain free for everyday activities and the things that are still challenging are getting better. This is not an overnight cure, but I feel like Dr. Silva gave me my life back and most importantly he gave me the hope that keeps me motivated to keep working to get stronger. I would recommend Dr. Silva to anyone. If you’re in pain and looking for answers, it’s worth the cost of the consultation to find out if this is an option for you. I believe Dr. Silva will give you an honest assessment so you can make the right decision.

Dr. Silva was very thorough and professional in providing alternative treatment for my painful arthritic knees and neck. I was told I would need knee replacement and decided to explore stem cell injections to delay the replacements. The … More procedure and immediate recovery period (3 days) were painful but Dr. Silva was forthcoming about the pain and provided medication to minimize the pain. Remarkably, my recovery has been much better than I anticipated (and I had high hopes). For the first time in 25 years, my neck is pain-free and no longer makes it difficult for me to sleep. My knees are 70% improved which is incredible since the full benefit is not expected until one year after the treatment. The treatment is not covered by insurance but I feel the value vs cost is awesome. I highly recommend Dr. Silva and his caring staff, Stephanie and Jenna.

I was rear ended in a car accident and had unresolved neck pain and headaches stemming from the accident for about 6 years. During that 6 years, you name it, I tried it. Nothing kept the pain in my neck and debilitating headaches away. … More I had resolved to taking daily medications which were not only not working, but also causing other unwanted side effects. I couldn't perform well at work because I was always hurting, and it was making me really tired all the time and depressed. After years of trying to find someone to help me (chiropractors, D.O.s, massage therapists, physical therapists, acupuncture) I really thought I just had to live with it. I had heard about Dr. Silva and decided to have a consultation because everything else had failed me. He's not covered by insurance, but it was some of the best money I've ever spent. Dr. Silva spent more time with me than any other doctor has, and explained that my neck pain and headaches could be treated with a regenerative injection therapy called PRP. It's clear that he's very invested in his patients in addition to being highly trained (which in my experience is very rare!) so I felt comfortable moving forward with what he recommended. The procedure itself and recovery was not that bad at all. The treatment provided more relief than I could have even imagined and my only regret is that I didn't know about it sooner. My headaches and constant neck pain went away and I felt amazing! Unfortunately, about a 1 1/2 years later, I fell skiing and hurt my neck again and tore my rotator cuff in my shoulder, but I knew who to call first this time: Dr. Silva! He treated my neck AND my shoulder with PRP, and I've since made a full recovery. I'm so thankful that I knew that this option existed for me when I injured myself, because I did NOT want to have shoulder surgery. The biggest downside is that his therapies aren't covered by insurance, and yes it's a little expensive when you're paying out of pocket, but let me tell you it's WORTH IT!!!

I was skeptical at first about regenerative therapies and I wasn’t sure what they entailed.  I’m extremely happy that I tried though, because now I’m pain-free after 2 months of agonizing pain! I had a herniated disc in my lower back that … More sent a shooting pain down to my glutes and leg.  I could not stand still, walk straight, or sleep more than 2 hours at a time because the pain would wake me up.  It was horrible.  I tried everything including cortisone shots at the hospital, acupuncture, physical therapy, chiropractic, and electrotherapy.  Nothing worked.  Orthopedic doctors couldn’t help me at the hospital. The only option that was left was surgery which I absolutely did not want to do because of my additional condition of spondylolisthesis.  Then everything turned around after a friend of mine told me about Dr. Silva.  I visited the office and the staff members were very welcoming, kind, and empathic, and immediately they reduced my anxiety. Once my consultation with Dr. Silva started my concerns were eliminated because he really took the time to educate me about my condition and how he would treat it. I didn't really understand how regenerative medicine worked, and he took the time to listen, explain, and make sure I understood.  He was very patient and explained everything again as I asked more questions. Dr. Silva recommended prolotherapy first to reduce my pain, followed by a PRP treatment, and he was able to do the prolotherapy that very same day. I couldn’t believe the immediate effect it had! I had walked into his office completely hunched over, like a Neanderthal because of pain, and left walking straight for the first time in 2 months! I then had the PRP treatment about a month later, which Dr. Silva recommended as the stronger, long-term treatment for alleviating my symptoms. The injections were not as scary as I thought they would be and Dr. Silva made sure I was comfortable for both procedures, even though I was very nervous. Several months later, not only has the pain never come back, but I no longer have to make a monthly chiropractic visit for my lower back!  I am extremely appreciative of Dr. Silva and his team for the alternative treatments that he offers. His injection-based therapies are not as invasive as surgery which was the only other option that I had previously.  Regenerative treatments focus on the healing powers of my own body, and my experience with Dr. Silva completely changed my perception of modern medicine for the better!  Thank you, Dr. Silva and team!
